Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Feather Logistics collects when you use our website and driver dashboard, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have.
1. Who we are
Feather Logistics is a virtual trucking company (VTC) community for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. The website is run by the Feather Logistics owners as a non-commercial hobby project based in Hungary. We are the data controller for the data described here.
To contact us about your data, open a ticket in our Discord server.
2. What we collect
When you log in with Discord
We only ask Discord for the basic identify permission. From it we store your Discord user ID, Discord username and avatar reference. We do not receive your email address, password, Discord servers or Discord messages.
Your driver profile
- Display name, rank, website permission and staff role (for example Chief Executive Officer)
- Your TruckersMP ID, if our staff added it
- Your profile settings: banner color and whether to show your Discord avatar
- The date you joined and the date you accepted our terms
Activity
When you were last active on the dashboard (updated at most once a minute while you use it). We use this to show "last seen" and the online indicator on your profile.
Friends and messages
- Friend requests, friendships and the drivers you block
- Private messages you send and receive: the text, replies, reactions, when they were sent, whether they were read, and whether they were deleted
- Notifications about new messages
Technical data
- A login session cookie (see our Cookie Policy)
- Your IP address and browser details, which our hosting provider records in standard server logs
- Short-term counters that stop spam (for example, how many messages you sent in the last few seconds)
3. Why we use it and our legal basis

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, track you across other websites, or make automated decisions about you.
4. Who can see your data
- Other logged-in members can see your display name, avatar, rank, banner, join date, last seen and online status, Discord username, TruckersMP ID and driver statistics.
- Staff members: if you hold a staff role (for example Chief Executive Officer or Event Team), your display name, avatar and staff role are shown on our public Team page, which anyone can see without logging in.
- Your private messages are visible to you and the person you are messaging. They are not end-to-end encrypted. The owners who manage our database can technically access them, and only do so when needed to handle a report of abuse or a legal request.
- bot-hosting.net hosts our website and database, so your data is stored on their servers.
- Discord handles the login. If you choose to show your Discord avatar, your browser loads it directly from Discord's servers.
Discord is based in the United States and may process data outside the European Union under its own safeguards and privacy policy.
5. How long we keep it
- Your account and profile: for as long as you are a member.
- When you leave Feather Logistics: your account is deactivated, not deleted. You can no longer log in, you disappear from the driver list, and nobody can open your profile, message you or add you as a friend. Your pending friend requests are removed. Messages you already sent stay in the other person's conversation, shown as "Deactivated Account" without your name or picture. The owners can still access the deactivated account in the database.
- Full deletion: we keep deactivated accounts until you ask us to delete them. When you ask, we delete your account together with your messages, friendships, friend requests, blocks and notifications.
- Deleted messages: the text is erased immediately. A "Deleted message" placeholder stays in the conversation.
- Notifications: until you clear them or your account is deleted.
- Server logs: for the limited time our hosting provider keeps them.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- get a copy of the data we hold about you
- have incorrect data corrected
- have your data deleted
- restrict or object to how we use your data
- receive your data in a portable format
To use any of these rights, open a ticket in our Discord server. We will answer within one month.
You can also complain to the Hungarian data protection authority, the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), or to the authority in the EU country where you live.
7. Age requirement
You must be at least 16 years old to use the driver dashboard. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If we learn that a member is under 16, we will delete their account.
8. Security
The site is only available over HTTPS. Login sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies, and changes are protected against cross-site request forgery. Access to the database is limited to the site owners. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't share sensitive personal information in messages.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. We will announce important changes in our Discord server.
